What we do

We provide care and education for children aged six weeks to five years, encouraging and supporting them through a wide range of experiences; from country days, dance, music and movement to cookery, animals, and much more.

We aim to support each child’s individual needs to make their experience at nursery a positive one, each child is paired with a ‘key person’ to communicate closely with the child and family, building positive relationships and ensuring they have smooth transitions through their early years experience.

Our curriculum

Our curriculum closely follows the expectations of Ofsted. Through our use of the ‘Early Years Framework’ (EYFS), we make sure each child develops in a fun, safe environment, and is fully prepared for their transition into school.

Learning at Springboard

All of our Springboard settings are split into three rooms; one for babies, one for toddlers, and a pre-school.

Our staff

Our approach is positive, friendly, supportive, and professional; always maintaining the highest quality care for children.

All our staff have achieved or are close to achieving their NVQ Level 3 in Early Years Education, with most of our seniors already qualified to Level 6. Each member of staff is DBS checked, and selected to ensure enthusiasm and commitment to each child's development.

We follow government ratio rules. For children under two, we have one member of staff for every three children, for two to three-year-olds, there is one member of staff for every four children, and children from three upwards are looked after in a one to eight ratio.
